Beginner Pole Classes

Intro to Pole
Core Class
Our 45-minute Intro to Pole class is perfect for absolute beginners!Whether you're completely new to pole dancing or just starting your journey, this class is tailored for you. Discover the fundamentals of pole dance, including walking around the pole, simple spins, and basic dance moves, all while focusing on building a strong foundation in a welcoming and supportive environment.
What to Wear: T-shirt/Tank and shorts for grip. Barefoot recommended.
What to Bring: Water bottle and socks.
Level Guidance: Take 1-3 Intro to Pole classes or move on to Pole 1 at your own pace.

Beginner Pole
Core Class
Take the next step in your pole dancing journey with our Beginner class. Building on the basics, this class focuses on static spins, pole seats, and transitions. Enjoy experimenting with movements both up and down the base of the pole while gradually incorporating climb conditioning. The goal is on developing your skills and fostering a supportive learning environment.In Beginner Pole, you'll learn fundamental body mechanics, positions, hand grips, techniques, and terminology while preparing both yourself and your body for more Progressive Beginner moves.
What to Wear: T-shirt/Tank and shorts for grip. Barefoot recommended.
What to Bring: Water bottle, kneepads, socks, and grip aid.
Level Guidance: Have attended at least 1-3 Intro to Pole class or have equivalent pole experience.
Preparing for Progressive Beginner Pole: Recommended to attend weekly until confident in most Beginner moves, before advancing to Progressive Beginner. Always consult with an instructor before leveling up.

Curvy & Confident (Beginner)
Core Class
A beginner-friendly class for those who identify as curvy, plus-size, or just want a space that moves at a supportive pace. This beginner-friendly class covers foundational pole skills—like spins, grips, and basic climbs—at a pace tailored for diverse bodies. Build strength and confidence while celebrating movement in a welcoming and inclusive environment. No prior experience needed—just bring yourself and a willingness to have fun!Modifications and regressions are offered.
What to Wear: T-shirt/Tank and shorts for grip. Barefoot recommended.

Swole on the Pole (Beginner & Above)
Specialty Class
Build strength and stamina with Swole on the Pole, a beginner focused conditioning class with options for progressions, whether you're just starting your fitness journey or already have experience. This class blends pole and floor exercises, using bodyweight movements and optional equipment like bands and blocks, to help you train safely and effectively at your own pace.With a focus on proper form, technique, and fun, you'll enhance your fitness foundation for advanced pole work. Modifications are provided to suit all fitness levels.

Flowing Combos (Beginner)
Specialty Class
In this class, we'll examine Beginner moves through fresh eyes, focusing on seamlessly transitioning in and out of them. Students will learn (or revisit) traditional beginner moves and ask, "How can I make this move flow?" This is the class to take if you're looking to move confidently and seamlessly from one move to the next!Level Guidance: For Beginner Pole and above. Not suitable for those who haven’t taken Intro to Pole.

Slow Flow Choreo (Beginner)
Specialty Class
Stay grounded and explore slow, controlled movements in continuous choreography. Build on skills from Beginner Pole to create expressive, flowing routines while discovering your unique style at a relaxed pace. Modifications are provided to suit all levels.Level Guidance: Have taken at least four Beginner Pole classes or equivalent experience.

Open Level Pole Practice (All)
Specialty Class
This is your time for self-directed practice, conditioning, and exploring your unique flow. While uninstructed, our supportive instructors are available for guidance or questions. Crash mats are provided, and spotting assistance is available upon request.Guidelines:
- Practice moves within your skill level.
- Respect others’ space and time to foster a positive community.Level Guidance: Beginner Pole or above. Not suitable for those who haven’t taken Intro to Pole or don’t have pole experience.

Skill Studio (All)
Specialty Class
This workshop-style class is open to all levels. Bring the moves, concepts, or transitions you’d like to focus on, and the instructor will give you personalized guidance, progressions, and troubleshooting. Whether you’re just starting out or advancing into more complex skills, this class is your space to refine technique, overcome challenges, and grow with focused support.Level Guidance: Open to all levels (minimum pole experience required) students are encouraged to come with specific moves or concepts they’d like to work on.

Do you need help finding a pole style of your own? Are you tired of your freestyling turning into yet another 16-count body wave? Do you feel like you are always focused on what you should be doing - instead of enjoying where you are right now? In Pole Play, we'll learn to PLAY with our movement. You'll learn different ways to make pole more fun - for where you are, right now.Level Guidance: Suitable for all levels.

Flex & Flow (All)
Flex and Flow is a 90-minute immersive experience in mindful movement, designed to enhance both passive and active flexibility over time. This dynamic class integrates elements of yoga, pole dance, floorwork and conditioning, providing a holistic approach to movement.
Targeted toward Beginner to Advanced Pole students, Flex & Flow encourages participants to build familiarity with various movement patterns while gracefully transitioning between them. To ensure inclusivity, regressions are offered, allowing everyone to engage and progress at their own pace. Join us to deepen you connection with your body, cultivate fluidity in your movements, and elevate your practice to new heights!

Progressive Beginner Pole
Core Class
Build on your Beginner Pole foundation with spins that take both feet off the floor, knee hook variations, intricate transitions, and pole climbs. Learn proper body mechanics and positioning to ensure safety and reduce the risk of injury. Explore advanced moves like spin pole (instructor’s discretion) or stay grounded at your own pace.Level Guidance: Proficiency in catch spin, back hook, pirouette, log roll, body waves, and shoulder engagement or have equivalent pole experience.
Preparing for Early Intermediate Pole: Recommended to attend weekly until confident in most Progressive Beginner moves, before advancing to Early Intermediate Pole. Always consult with an instructor before leveling up.

Perfect for those with some pole experience but new to dancing in heels, this class covers fundamentals of movement, balance, and technique while helping you embrace your unique style.Level Guidance: Suitable for students comfortable with Beginner skills. No street shoes or heels allowed.

Build on your Progressive Beginner skills in this dynamic class focused on energetic choreography. Explore lifted spins, basework, complex transitions, and advanced floorwork, blending technique with expressive movement to create captivating routines.Level Guidance: Designed for those confident in Progressive Beginner moves. Higher levels welcomed. This class does not include pole climbs or inverts and assumes familiarity with Beginner and Progressive Beginner skills.

Climb Conditioning (Progressive Beginner)

Designed for Progressive Beginner and higher, this class focuses on building the strength, technique, and control needed for safe and efficient climbs. Through a mix of on-and-off pole exercises, you'll work with bodyweight movements and props like yoga blocks, resistance bands, and pull-up bands.Master a variety of climbs—including basic, side, and performance styles—while enhancing your body awareness and overall pole strength.
Level Guidance: Suitable for Progressive Beginner and above. Strong shoulder engagement recommended.

Invert Foundations (Progressive Beginner)

Start building the strength, technique, and confidence needed for safe and successful inverts. In this class, you’ll focus on foundational skills and concepts—learning proper body mechanics, controlled engagement, and safe progressions. Students will begin working on introductory inversions, including the waist hold invert, while developing the conditioning and awareness needed for more advanced inverted moves.Level Guidance: Recommended for students in Progressive Beginner and above.

Core Class
Early Intermediate Pole elevates your journey with more refined skills and challenging techniques. This class is ideal if you feel comfortable with most Progressive Beginner skills or have equivalent pole experience.You’ll expand your repertoire with one-handed spins, static poses, and more frequent pole climbs. Explore creating combinations on spin pole and begin working toward inversions from handstands, drop-ins, tabletop, and standing entries.
Master diverse grips to enhance versatility and control as you tackle extended sequences.
Level Guidance: Proficiency in Progressive Beginner Pole moves such as lifted spins, jasmine, genie, apprentice, climbs, or equivalent experience.

Invert Conditioning (Prog. Beginner / Early Intermediate)
Specialty Class
Prepare your body and refine your technique in our Invert Conditioning class. This class is designed to enhance your strength, technique, body awareness, and overall fitness to achieve controlled and safe inverts on the pole.During the class, we'll utilize a variety of props such as yoga blocks, resistance bands, and pull-up bands to target and engage the essential muscles needed for successful inverts. Our training will begin with invert movement patterns on the floor, progressively advancing to controlled movements up the pole.
We prioritize individual needs by offering modifications, regressions, and progressions, ensuring that each participant can work at their own pace and ability level.
Level Guidance: High comfortability in most Progressive Beginner skills and / or in Early Intermediate and above classes.
Intermediate / Advanced Pole Classes

Core Class
Progress your skills and refine your technique in Intermediate Pole, designed for those confident in most Early Intermediate moves or with equivalent experience.This class focuses on building strength, stamina, control, and flexibility for advanced aerial maneuvers. You’ll work on consecutive climbs, inverts, and hands-free leg hang switches, while exploring challenging aerial combinations on both static and spin poles.
Master diverse grips to enhance versatility and control as you tackle extended sequences.
Level Guidance: Suitable for students proficient in consecutive climbs, floor inverts, and leg hang switches, with prior Early Intermediate experience.

Advanced Pole
Core Class
Take your pole training to the next level with Advanced Pole, designed for students confident in Intermediate Pole skills and ready for complex aerial movement.This class emphasizes aerial inverts, advanced grips, and maintaining strength and control with only 2–3 points of contact. You’ll work on dynamic transitions and intricate combinations on both static and spin pole, with a focus on clean lines and endurance.
Moves you may encounter in this class include Extended Butterfly, Jade Split, Brass Monkey variations, Iguana, Ayesha, and other advanced-level holds, transitions, and dismounts.
Level Guidance: (By Instructor Invite Only.) Suitable for students proficient in multiple consecutive aerial inverts, leg hangs, and advanced transitions with controlled form.
